Step-by-Step Instagram Framework for Restaurants
Written by Hanzal Pannikora
If you haven't read our previous article 'Your Instagram and Your Guest Experience' then I would suggest reading that first.
If you have already read it, or perhaps you're here from Instagram—after watching our reel—you're wondering how to put all this to use. Here's what you can do to start applying this:
STEP 1: Tally
You need go through your current Instagram page, to count how much of the content you've posted in the past year satisfies which of the three levels. Some posts and most reels can satisfy more than one level, and we'll add a fourth column to count the miscellaneous ones that does not belong in any of our established levels.
STEP 2: Audit
Once you're done counting, it's time to figure out the percentages of each level and make your observations. Which way is your content skewed towards? Does it make sense for you to do so? Keep poking till you find a balance that makes sense for your restaurant.
STEP 3: Plan
Now, before you go changing up your entire content strategy, experiment first. When you plan out your next nine pieces of content try to apply this framework.
STEP 4: Monitor
Before implementing the framework, take a record of your current metrics, which will act as our baseline. Once you start posting, monitor the new metrics and compare them against the baseline.
STEP 5: Refine
What are the chances that you'll nail it in your first attempt? You need to keep testing, refining and innovating till you're happy with the results.
Good luck <3.
